This is what I'm doing and I just used a similar image to make new bunsiess cards. I was making tiles until the kiln ate them. I will start from scratch again on those later tonight. Oh process it's good that I love you.

It is similar to what those of us who knit call a prescos knitter (someone like me who knits because they like DOING the knitting and learning new knitting techniques) as opposed to those other knitters that are product knitters (those people, like my mum, who knit things and who see the finished product as the only point of knitting).

You know, I think I'm going to leave Facebook soon. I have to wait a bit because I just rececnentod with an old friend whose husband was killed on Saturday in Afghanistan. FB is the only way I have in getting in contact with her right now. I think leaving Facebook is the least painful here. I say instead of leaving LJ, anyone who is really bothered by this and is thinking of leaving LJ, leave FB instead. They're the ones taking over the Internet.

One of my pet annoyances is news wtseibes which, when you follow an inbound link on a mobile device, will just take you to the front page of their mobile site, which may or (usually) may not contain a link to the actual article. I've had this problem on two different North American news sites this past week (CTV being one of them) but one forum I read a lot has the problem as well, and when I complained, I was told well, the mobile version needs some love and you need a browser with JavaScript to have proper redirection on a mobile device . Well, they can detect whether you have JavaScript, and there are other ways of redirecting besides that (like PHP, and the whole site is written in PHP).And some people use mobile devices because they can't actually use a laptop, let alone a desktop computer. It's an annoyance to someone who can just go to a normal computer later, but to anyone who can't, it just means they can't read what's in the link. It's amazing that anyone running a simple WordPress blog can install a mobile plugin that just gives you a simpler version of the page without even changing the URL, yet a major news organisation can't manage that. Why?

I am of the opinion that one of the imptorant issues driving the one percenters that has gone unmentioned in the health care debate, is that permitting their employees and the rest of the public access to affordable medical care means that that we would be making our own choices, our own decisions. Instead of being commanded from the top down as to what what we are to be permitted. This displays the utter contempt our self-designated overlords have for all us human cattle.
